About

TailVille collects what you need to know before bringing a pet home and while you live together. It compares dozens of pets — from dogs and cats to hamsters, parrots, geckos, fish and insects — on the same yardsticks: lifespan, size, cost, difficulty and the cautions that matter before you commit.

Animal profiles and guides are written by TailVille. Costs are rough ranges based on the Korean market in 2026, shown in US dollars on the English site as an approximation. Health and legal notes are general information; follow your vet and local authorities for real decisions. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we will fix it.

The ranking votes, daily debate, comments and show-off board are written by visitors. Show-off posts go live after a moderator checks them, and posts or comments reported by several readers are hidden until reviewed.
